Color me surprised. I've been seeing this pizza chain popping up all over the valley and since they're only a quick walk away, I thought I would give them a chance. I like my pizza very traditional and well done so I can get crispy toppings and I was glad they were able to accomidate me. Unlike a lot of other chain pizza places, the pizza wasn't dripping in grease and the dough didn't have a grease line in it. They put a lot of cheese on it, but it's seems like it might be higher quality than your local Papa Johns or Domino's; at least it tasted like that to me. If pizza isn't your thing, then they have a ton of other options from sandwiches to wings, all reasonably priced and pretty solid. I'm glad I tried these guys out, if you have one around you I suggest you give it a try.

I've had several experiences with Marco's pizza in the last year, so this review will sum all of those up. I would also like to add that this review does not reflect in restaurant service as I've only had delivery. The first time I ordered from Marco's, I fell in love. They were brand new and I'd gotten a flier in the mail, so why not, right? The food came quickly, the delivery person was friendly and personable, and the food was awesome. I really liked the texture and flavor of the crust, the crust toppings were really delicious, and I liked pizza topping options. This was October or November of 2014. I ordered from them again in December and the food quality was the same. Very delicious. The pizza was fantastic and the delivery came only slightly later than expected. Unfortunately, after that, my experiences with Marco's went completely down hill. I've ordered from Marco's a handful of times in 2015 and every single time was either a disaster and/or disappointment. The one time that really stands out the most out from all the bad experiences is when I convinced a group of friends I was hanging with to order from Marco's instead of Pizza Hut. We waited almost three hours to get our food. We tried calling the business several times but no one answered, and we were starting to wonder if the business had been robbed, lit on fire, or some other horrible thing because it was such a strange thing that absolutely no one was answering any of our calls. We called another location who called the location we ordered from and they couldn't get an answer and said that they couldn't do anything. Honestly, at that point, we were just really hungry and simply wanted to cancel our order, but since we couldn't get a hold of them we decided we'd just drive down there and hopefully either get our food or cancel the order and get food elsewhere. Our pizza came just as we were getting ready to leave. The delivery person was unapologetic, saying that they were really busy and that they'd gotten the pizza to us as soon as they'd been able to--as if we should have been grateful we'd gotten it at all. Now, I understand a place being busy, that does happen, but I do expect that if that's the case then the manager on duty should call and let us know that the food will be a while and give us the option to cancel. Or maybe they should at least answer the phone. I have started to get the feeling that the location isn't very well managed and that they must have had corporate trainers there when they first opened, which is why my deliveries went so smoothly in the beginning. I've had so many problems with their delivery service this year that I honestly do not want to order from them anymore, which is extremely sad for me because they DO have good pizza, which is why they have two stars instead of one. Their food is very good, and perhaps their in -restaurant service is amazing, but every single delivery I've had from them this year has had issues. So, from my experience, I would say that if you're going to order from this business, perhaps try pick up instead of delivery. I can't really guarantee the service will be better, but it's possible your experience will be much better than ordering delivery. I think that perhaps because their food really is very good for a chain they just have more business than they can handle with the staff they employ. If that's the problem, then I'm thinking that perhaps this business needs to spend more money on getting more employees in to handle the business load. I also think that maybe the owners need to spend more time making sure their employees know how to handle the amount of business they get with good customer service skills. I really WANT to give this business at least three stars because the food has been consistently delicious--even when it's been three hours late--but I just can't given the steady decline of their delivery service and customer service. I will probably give this business another try in another year or two to see if it has improved because I really do like their food; but, at this point I'm not interested in wading through bad experiences in delivery and customer service simply to get a tasty pizza. Good food is only one part of the puzzle. Good customer service is equally as important as the taste of the food.

Has anyone on the planet really ever eaten a 12 inch sub without cutting it in half? Here's the thing about Marco's...their pizza is really good, their italian sub is really good, their Greek Salad is really good. That's it. Their service is rocky. Their attention to detail is severely lacking. And wanna know a secret? All tips at the counter go to the manager! He told the employees he used them for uniforms and such. Turn over has been really high, I can't imagine why?

I drove from Olympus Cove to pick up our pizza. It was worth the drive and I loved it! Sauce was just right and the well done bread sticks were the best...not doughy...just delicious. I'm looking forward to a franchise moving in at the Olympus Hill Mall!! Can't wait. Thanks Marco's!!

Just yesterday I took the advice given to me by a friend some time ago, let's call him Rennan. Rennan came to me one day and said to me in his strong Serbian accent, "Comrade, you must go to the new Marco's Pizza." I must confess I didn't think much of it considering his fascist political views. However, yesterday I came across Marco's Pizza and said "why not?" So, I went for it. I ordered Pepperoni Magnifico. This magestic pie consisted of two pepperonis, Old World and Classic and olives (of course) with Marco's Special Italian Seasoning. I had never had Old world peperoni before and man was it good! The crust was excellent. It tasted so soft and fluffy like it was molded by angels. The price was relatively average. The service was great! Everyone in the pizzeria smiled and said welcome. Reheat-ability was great as well, It maintained it's soft and fluffy nature which is rare in Pizza. Overall I would give this Pizza a 9 out of 10. I recommend that everyone tries it at least once. I guarantee you will be hooked. Evanator Out!

This place is a mad house right now. Which is what I get for walking it at 12:45 on a Wednesday afternoon. There were a ton of people waiting and the place needed a little wiping down but I'm not one to nit pick a brand new business. The owner was training an employee who seemed very happy to be there and was very pleasant. The owner himself was also very nice and excited, as well he should be! He quoted us 10 minutes for a sub sammich but it was delivered to us in 6 which I thought was great timing considering it was toasted and they were very busy. The sammich was good. Tons of bacon -which is impressive considering a similar sandwich (at subway) for maybe a dollar less in cost only has a single strip of bacon on it. And the bread was way better! I still need to try the pizza, I'm sure I will soon living with a pizza demon in my home. I hope to change this to a 5 star rating when things calm down a bit.

I tried this yesterday for the first time and was impressed, I got the pepperoni magnifico and cheezy bread, both tasted fresh, crust is awesome, seasonings are awesome, it's even good reheated which is always important to me, delivery was fast as well. I would still rank The Pie higher but that is preference, and marcos was way better than dominos and papa johns. Will definitely try again.

I eat out several times per week, but this is first time I've been mad enough to write a review. I ordered my pizza online and was given a "ready" time of 6:18. I purposefully chose this establishment because it has a drive through pick up window, as I have kids--5,3, and newborn. I arrived about 5 minutes early and there were two cars ahead of us. I proceeded to wait 15 minutes in line. So long that the car directly in front of me had someone get out and go inside to get their pizza. I was just about to give up and leave when both cars left. My daughter really wanted pizza and it was now my turn so I stayed--big mistake!! I was at the window waiting for ten minutes and the worker was standing next to me the entire time and NEVER even acknowledged my presence. She was too busy answering the phone and taking MORE orders. I saw her hang up the phone several times while I was sitting there. By the way, the window is huge so there is no way she couldn't see me. I had to CALL them on my cell phone to get her to look at me and open the window. I assumed after waiting soooo long my pizza would ready and possibly getting cold. She said she would check on it. She came back and said it was coming out of the oven, so I paid her. By this time my baby was crying because I had expected to be home to feed him ages before. I waited another 10 minutes and had to call again to get anyone's attention. I finally got my pizza a full 30 minutes after the time they said it would be ready. This is hands down the worst service I have ever received. I am a VERY patient patron, if I'm acknowledged and not lied to. Countless workers passed by the window while I was waiting without making eye contact. It was ridiculous. I felt like I was on Boiling Point. Never did anyone apologize or offer me a coupon or anything to entice me to return in the future. If the owner/management reads this: let me give you a tip on how to make and keep customers happy and coming back. ACKNOWLEDGE PEOPLE!! I always tell my husband I can wait forever in a restaurant as long as I have something to drink and don't feel like they forgot about me. The worker should have opened the window or at least given me a "just a sec" gesture immediately. If she had been honest and told me they hadn't even started my pizza I could have chosen to either wait or come back another time. Goodness! I could have parked and fed my baby while I waiting had she not given me the run around. The pizza was ok. That doesn't matter to me, it was for the kids--they aren't picky. If I want good pizza I'll go to Este. I was so excited for this to be our weekly "go to pizza place" and I wouldn't have to lug the kids inside. So sad.

Poor service. Inability to do speciality orders. Long wait times. Generic flavors. Came here for a quick lunch and waited too long. You would be better off going to a more authentic pizza place like Este pizza in sugarhouse. Very generic and bland. I would not recommend. Essentially this is a fast food pizza place - without the fast. Virtually no place to sit for groups greater than three people.

Marco's Pizza is known for its authentic Italian pizza, subs, salads and wings. Perfect for lunch and dinner. Lunch specials. Carry out and delivery.

It's pricey, but I'm basing my 5 star review on the taste of the pizza. Out of the delivery places in Holladay this is our favorite. We usually get the Pepperoni Magnifico. It comes with two types of pepperonis on it, one type being like the kind that pizzas from my home in California come with. Very good pizza. We avoid the higher prices by using coupons that they send in emails. Wish that either we'd get the coupons more often or that the pizza was cheaper. Very good!

I went to Marco's shortly after their opening night. It was a little chaotic at first - deliveries going out, people milling around, people trying to do their jobs well while a lot of customers were there. Overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant itself is small and it wasn't completely set up yet (some boxes that still needed to be put away), but it was still good. The young woman who took or order was incredibly friendly and knew how to deliver good service. The pizza itself (pepperoni) was good, though not outstanding. Still, it beats Domino's and Pizza Hut by a mile. The wait time for food was about 20 minutes, which is a bit longer than expected. We ordered a cheeseburger pizza (delivery) yesterday and enjoyed it very much. I will order from Marco's again, for sure. If I want to go somewhere to sit and have dinner, I will probably go somewhere else, but I would choose Marco's for delivery over any other chain pizza joint in my area.

Marco's has good food (We love the wings and pizza), and friendly service! We get it delivered within an hour. Its always hot and fresh! The only thing I don't like is, when we ate there it was wall to wall people walking by our table!

Had pizza delivered tonight. Friendly person on the phone and quick delivery time. Pizza was hot too which is hard to come by lately. I decided to try an order of hot wings because I've read good things and I wish I hadn't. Wings were soggy, if not for that I would've given 5 stars. Pizza was delicious.

Marcos is my new go-to for pizza night! I used to get The Pie because it was the only decent pizza place that delivers in my neighborhood. We like The Pie but it's a little spendy and the Pizza Hut on 900 E. is absolutely disgusting! Marcos is fantastic! Try the Pepperoni Magnifico and the White Cheezy! Sooo good!

I ate at the riverton store and was visiting a friend in Murray we decided to order pizza and I suggested we dine in. We arrived and the store was busy however we where greeted as we entered. We talked with a nice guy named John he was the same guy from the riverton location it was so nice to see a friendly face. My friends had never eaten here before. And they loved it. They are even opening a store in West Jordan this month I am so excited. I will defiantly be over there to try the new location!!

Have been excited to try Marco's! They serve up a nice typical pizza pie! Very tasty and everything I expected. Would recommend calling ahead if you plan to take-out. Staff was very kind. Overall very enjoyable, will try again!
